    A JCP PURIM PARTY is scheduled for March 20th

    Several JCP members have organized a JCP PURIM PARTY at the K-House on Thursday Evening, March 20, 2008, between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM.  The party will be particularly oriented toward children, but adults and child-like adults are welcome.  Everyone is encouraged to come in COSTUME, if you wish. 

                This will be a potluck with just vegetarian or dairy snacks (no meat or seafood).  Kosher certification of prepared foods is not required, but is appreciated.  Here are some ideas:

    Hummus

    pasta salad

    veggie sticks

    sliced fruit

    pita wedges

    corn chips

    bean dip (no lard)

    salsa,

    guacamole

    English muffin pizzas (no meat)

    fruit juice

    hamantashen (if you want to bake)

    This year, the evening of Purim falls on Thursday night, March 20, 2008.
